Nutrition and Recovery
Nutrition plays a crucial role in the recovery process. Our catering team collaborates closely with dietitians, nurses, and consultants to ensure that the meals we provide positively impact your health and well-being. We are committed to offering nutritious meals that support your recovery and enhance your overall hospital experience. Our Catering Team takes pride in designing varied, tasty, and wholesome menus using fresh produce delivered daily. Our chefs have been recognized for their excellence, earning medals at the Catex Exhibition in recent years.
Catering to Individual Needs
The Catering Department ensures that our menu meets the nutritional requirements of different patients, including those with specific medical conditions. We accommodate various dietary restrictions, such as allergies, religious dietary laws, and vegetarian or vegan preferences. Please inform the nursing staff of any special dietary requirements so that we can cater to your needs effectively.
The Catering Department follows strict Food Safety Laws (HACCP), preparing, storing, and serving food in compliance with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Act 1998.

Breakfast: 8:30 am
Lunch: 12:30 pm
Tea: 5:30 pm
Visitor Dining
Visitors are welcome to dine at Angulo’s Restaurant between 12:00 noon and 1:30 pm and between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. In addition, The Pomegranate Café offers a selection of tea, coffee, snacks, freshly made soup, sandwiches, paninis, cakes, and confectionery daily. The café is open from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Sunday. Newspapers, greeting cards, and vending machines are also available in this area.
Vending Machines and Restrictions
Vending machines offering soft drinks, sweets, and cigarettes are available within the hospital. Please note that the sale or use of alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden on hospital premises.
